Michael’s DJ services are the epitome of 5/5 stars. Guy is incredibly down to earth and checked in with us the whole way through the wedding. He is not “just a DJ”. He uses his experience in the wedding industry to make sure your big day is going as scheduled along with offering his top-notch DJ service. He acted as a coordinator throughout the entire process letting us know what works well and what does not work well for our venue. If it was not for Michael, our day would not have been absolutely perfect. Also, we cannot go without saying his pricing is also reasonable and justifiable. If you want the best total deal for your wedding, talk with Michael immediately!

We got married on Memorial Day weekend at Medicine Wind Farm and booked Michael late in the game; but better late than never and what a great decision this was! He is a seasoned wedding music professional and it shows. Along with our contract we received an entire music timeline of our wedding and were asked to pick songs for everything. He gave super helpful tips as in how to complete the form, what to watch out for, playlists, guidelines, you name it! He had a very in depth conversation about the finalized timeline with us the week before the wedding, which was great. We booked Michael as DJ for music at our ceremony site including mics for pastor, groom, readings etc, music at reception and party including dance floor lighting. One of the most important things to us for our wedding day was for our guests to enjoy themselves, have fun and dance. Mike, mission accomplished! Our guests are STILL talking about how much fun they had dancing the night away and they loved the music and DJ! Everyone had a blast and there’s not much more you can ask for as the host of a wedding. Thank you for being an awesome vendor and so easy and great to work with! I highly recommend booking Michael.

We've already covered Michael's Facebook page in our happy reviews and in all the amazing, hilarious footage of our reception, in which we screamed the words to every song and danced so non-stop that friends laughed he might be trying to kill us. He found the perfect balance between the mainstream dance music we wanted, the songs that were our college hits, the songs our families would happily dance to, and the random requests we had ('Uh, Michael, can we get that song from Mulan? How about a techno version of Country Roads?'). We knew we were in great hands when a musically picky friend at dinner asked us for our playlist and we could honestly say we couldn't give it to him since Michael was the one curating everything. If you want a personalized set list without the smarmy wedding announcements and with a friendly, energetic, flexible and responsive DJ, look no further.

“I work for the rape crisis center People Against Rape. We were planning our annual “Take Back The Night” event and decided we wanted to have a DJ. After looking around for a while and not finding any promising options, we came across Wedding Music Charleston. From the start, Michael was great to work with. He promptly responded to all of my emails, answered any questions I had, and was very excited to be working for our cause. It became obvious that Michael is generous and compassionate, and that he cares about his community. We were thrilled to have found him. During the event, Michael was extremely professional. We had multiple entertainment groups and speakers, and he flawlessly made the transition from one act to the next. On top of that, he was a lot of fun to work with. While sexual assault is a serious topic, we still wanted our event to be joyous, and he was able to create that environment for us. Plus, despite the fact that we did not give Michael a play list, he was able to pick the perfect songs that were both appropriate and upbeat. The staff at PAR is grateful to have found such a great DJ, and we would highly recommend him to businesses/nonprofits/individuals who are in need of entertainment, whether that be a DJ or a band.
